The comic also depicts Arnold Crimp who is a disturbed man who lost his job who goes onto pull out a handgun in a film theater and kills three people.James also booby-trapped his apartment just like the  Joker. It's not the first time a real life crime has mimicked one featured in a fictional show or film.
