Meaning and purpose
This posting will show how warner bros distribute their  projects it should also explain how they  broadcast on there TV networks also in cinemas , Warner Bros have their own television channel, that creates and shows television programmes and also movies.

Warner Bros are one of the largest distributors of feature films  television programs and animation to the television marketplace in the world they. It has the right to almost 61,000 hours of programming that can be dubbed or subtitled into more than 40 different  languages, to telecasters and cablecasters in more than 175 countries"

Cinema



for warner brothers the Cinema is the best way of distributing there movies.there is a large amount of cinema companies and if they want to play the warner brother movie they each have to pay for the rights to play the films in their cinema. the biggest cinema chains such as Vue and Cineworld might put the small local cinemas out of business by offering multiple screens, allowing them to showcase a range of new movies in one day, this is bad for small cinemas but good for filmmakers and broadcasters.

Streaming

amazon prime is a new way films can now be viewed. This is a subscription paid online channel its one of the markets biggest companies it works by stocking hundreds of movies and tv shows which can be viewed any time on demand. during the time the business has been growing they have started to be given exclusivity to a growing amount tv shows including man in the iron castle, which is a fan favourite . This ability to be the only one who has the be show has started to lure more consuemrs to join the amazon prime.

DVDs

DVDs are still one of the biggest distributors and revenue streams for warner brothers but in the last couple of years there has been a steady decline is the purchase of DVDS this is because of the social trend of everyone going digital this has allowed warner bros to cash in on the streaming market but this stream of cash is called a canibale channel as it is eating into there dvd revenue.
